Sellar Credit launches in March, but for now, you can get on the waitlist here.
-
Your credit limit will be determined by Hokodo, who look at a variety of criteria, including available data about your company. Don’t worry—applying for Sellar Credit will not impact your credit score.
To check your credit limit, simply provide a few details during the application process. If approved, your credit limit could range from £2,000 to over £1 million, with the average credit limit for Sellar buyers currently at £11,800.
You can also increase your credit limit by:
Using Sellar Credit regularly and paying on time.
By providing us with additional details about your business.
-
If approved, you can use your Sellar Credit account with over 250 participating suppliers. With over 15,000 SKUs currently available, you’ll have access to a wide range of products from the best drinks suppliers across the UK and beyond.
If a supplier doesn’t yet offer Sellar Credit, you can still use any other payment methods they’ve made available.
If you’re not approved for Sellar Credit at this time, some suppliers may still offer you a direct line of credit.
-
If you’ve reached your credit limit but want to continue using Sellar Credit and enjoy the convenience of one single monthly invoice, you have a few options:
Pay Down Your Balance:
You can pay off part or all of your outstanding balance early, which will free up your credit limit for additional purchases.
Request a Higher Limit:
Reach out to us and provide more details about your business to request a credit limit increase.
Otherwise, you can still use other payment methods available with your suppliers for any additional purchases.
-
Your Sellar Credit invoice is due 30 days after the end of the month (EOM + 30). For example, orders placed in March will be consolidated into a single invoice, payable by 30th April.
You can pay your invoice via BACS or Direct Debit (recommended), with payment details clearly provided on your invoice. Hokodo will also send you timely reminders before your payment is due, so you never miss a deadline.
If you have any questions or run into any issues, you can reach out to Bec, our Buyer Success Manager, at bec@sellar.io—she’ll be happy to help.
-
If there’s an issue with your order, such as missing or damaged items, your first step should be to contact the supplier directly to resolve it. Most issues can be quickly resolved between you and the supplier.
If a resolution is reached, the supplier can issue a credit note, which will be applied to your Sellar Credit account and reflected in your next invoice.
If you’re unable to resolve the issue with the supplier, the matter can be escalated to the Sellar team. We’ll review the situation in line with our T&Cs and work towards a fair outcome for everyone.
-
If you miss a payment, Hokodo will notify you and provide guidance on how to settle your balance as quickly as possible.
To avoid missed payments, we recommend setting up a Direct Debit. This will help make sure payments are automatically collected on the due date.
Repeated missed payments may impact your credit limit or future eligibility for Sellar Credit.
-
Sellar Credit is free for buyers as the 2.99% fee is covered by the suppliers. This means that, for only a little more than a typical business card processing fee, the supplier can get paid upfront, reduce credit admin and completely eliminate the risk of non-payment.
It’s a win-win as you’ll get access to generous EOM + 30 day payment terms which means you can invest in your inventory with larger, more frequent orders, helping to grow your supplier’s sales.
